The new Steskal Chiropractic office is a thoughtfully designed 1,400 SF space located at 18140 Burke Street in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Embracing an open-concept layout, the design prioritizes connectivity, comfort, and a welcoming flow of natural light throughout the space. Central to the layout is a spacious waiting and reception area that accommodates 10–14 patients. Exam room doors feature translucent glass, allowing light to pass through while maintaining privacy, which contributes to an airy and modern atmosphere. Dark-painted, exposed trusses—initially inspired by the high-end, spa-like aesthetic—add a subtle architectural accent overhead.
One of the key design solutions is the installation of suspended acoustic baffles above the reception desk. These vibrant green baffles minimize sound reverberation in the open environment while drawing on the Steskal brand palette. Their staggered, rhythmic alignment subtly mimics the shape of a spine, reinforcing the practice’s chiropractic identity in a bold yet refined way.
Key functional areas include an open adjustment room, designed to accommodate two chiropractic tables, which is divided by four stacked doors that offer flexibility to convert the space into one large, open area connected to the waiting room. The space features warm-toned LVP wood-style flooring, adding comfort and visual warmth throughout. Additional features include two exam rooms that can serve as private treatment or rental spaces, as well as a dedicated X-ray room with an adjacent documentation area.
This new location is tailored to support Dr. Chad Steskal’s vision for a patient-focused environment that combines professionalism with warmth. Designed for adaptability and long-term growth, the new space strengthens the doctor-patient connection while reflecting a clear brand identity grounded in clarity, openness, and care.
